Danish Fashion Apparel Industry Is In The Golden Age Of Development.

In August 10th, the Danish fashion industry is in the golden age of development, and garment exports are growing rapidly.

According to statistics released by the Danish Statistical Bureau, Danish clothing exports increased by 15% in 2007 to 3 billion 200 million euros, more than doubling in 10 years.

This year continued to grow, and exports amounted to 300 million euros in April alone.

The Danish textile and Apparel Federation recently released a research report that the sales volume of Danish garment enterprises in major markets has increased significantly, especially in Russia and Eastern Europe, with a growth rate of nearly 70%.

Other major markets include Germany, Sweden, Norway, Holland and Finland.

In the first half of this year, 58% of Danish garment enterprises export grew, and 60% of enterprises expected to maintain growth trend in the second half of the year.

The report also points out that Danish clothing exports are mainly concentrated in several large companies, such as Bestseller, which has been active in the Chinese market in recent years.

Danish textile and garment Federation official said that the growth of Danish clothing exports mainly stems from excellent design and excellent quality, while Danish enterprises are better at exploring potential growth markets.
